A captain's mansion dating back to 1919 houses the hotel that was named after the god's cup-bearer, Ganimede.

Since 1966, hotel "Ganimede " is known for its traditional Greek hospitality and its excellent home made Greek breakfast. The hotel owners, Chrysoula and Kostas Papalexis, have completely renovated the building and equipped it with all the latest in technology without sacrificing anything from the hotel's atmosphere and charm, its wonderful cuisine and unique breakfast.

The idyllic garden of "Ganimede" hotel is the ideal place to enjoy breakfast, read, use the free wireless internet or simply relax. In spring, when flowers bloom and birds fly around, the pleasant atmosphere makes guests feel at home. The garden is protected from the summer sun and guests can enjoy themselves in the shade of the green jasmine, far away from the noise and the modern interventions, sipping a cocktail or tasting one of the hostess' delicious snacks.

 

 

 

Hotel's Breakfast

Breakfast at Ganimede includes a wide variety of fresh bread (whole wheat, yeast, village style, bread sticks, toasts) from the family Papalexis Bakery, cake that can be combined with the velvety lemon cream, savory bacon-cheese bites, a wide selection of home made marmalades (strawberry, peach, apricot, apple, carrot, pear, bergamot, orange, tangerine, plum, plum-fig, fig, fig-walnut, whiskey- bitter orange, 3 citrus fruit, damson, blackberry etc), freshly squeezed orange juice, ham, local cheese, sweet or savory "tiganita", milk pie, various pates, chutney, fresh fruit, eggs cooked the way guests want, different types of coffee, tea and milk. Guests can enjoy different flavors every day generously brought to the guest's table and not from a buffet. Of course, Chrysoula sees to that!!!!
The ingredients for the dishes are produced in the region and are picked with particular care by the owners. When the weather is good-as it usually is-breakfast is served in the garden. The rest of the times it is served in the dining room with the burning fireplace. The friendly service and the soft music are additional factors that make the pleasure of being there more intense!
